It's Official, GM Sucks....
Yesterday's San Diego Union Tribune: "GM Sales Up 40% this quarter"
I guess their employee discount sale is going well. And hey, Cluelessricers, keep it friendly man. Derogatory comments are for the arrogant and stupid. Andryuha, the new 6 series is ill kid.

True, but this is temporary. In the long run, GM is still falling. this discount is merely prolonging GMs demise

In response to elfreaky. I never said GM can't make good cars. Any company can make a good vehicle. I know of a Ford Bronco that reached 330K with the original engine. However, my point is that the reliability of these cars will not be it's demise. It's going to be the innefficiency of Detroit rides that will be its demise. People know Pacific rim imports are reliable cars, virtually all models, and they also know that they get incredible fuel economy. Secondly, the two big names in Japan, Honda and Toyota, are already way out in front in the development of hybrid vehicles that maximize gasoline's power even more. The South can have their trucks and SUVs which you say the people are so beholden to but the ever increasing gas prices will just create more hardships on them and the sacrifices just won't be worth it after a point. Unless Detroit gets their a**es is gear real quick and starts buying some patents and doing some research and development, then the American auto manufacturing industry is done. IMO.
My 86 F150 currently has 365k miles on the original engine and counting.
Of course it is a torque loving 300 straight six and everyone knows the mo****ers are bulletproof.
The heads weight 78 pounds a piece! But whenever i need to pull something or drag a stump I
know it will do the job. Course it gets like 12 miles to the gallon and that why I got the 98 EX!
Every vehicle is different, it's not the brand as much as it is the driver and their habits. Take care of it
and with luck it will last forever. Take two of the same car, one will last a 10 years, one will last 50....

yeah mad 7's everybody knows about the fuel prices and so do the big 3. they may lose business and have to change strategies but they will always be major players in the auto industry. that is my belief.
