would anyone know of a site where you can search for a plate, but for free? ive seen all these that say free but its not. greatly apprieciate if anyone finds one

 

are you talking about like making your own?...if thats true.then i go to DMVnow.com....but idk i live in VA so...

I don't know about your state, but IL has a free look up. You can look up a car by VIN or Plate #. Your state might have one too. It will tell you if the VIN is registered, when it was last registered, etc.

You can try the DMV website but the one I posted for IL is actually apart of the Illinois Secretary of State website. So I would check Secretary of State first then check the DMV website if you still can't find it. You can try emailing the DMV or Sec of State if you still have problems. It is possible that your state does not have this service as well. I know that IL has the website but I'm not sure if every state has it.
