hey everyone

im moving away from home next year for university, and am prbly guna be buying anuther car. (i live in new zealand and im movin from the north island tot he south island). my parents are prbly guna buy me an el cheapo to have while im down here. i curently drive a auto eg9 which i love (part from the auto part). im keen to get a crx and was just wondering what the engines are like. i know they eitha have the b16, the ZC or the d15. the b16 versions are prbly outa my price range, so i was wondering what the ZC engine is like. is it basicly the b16 without vtec? any help would be great thanx

 

nah the zc is a jdm d16...

 

pretty much the same as the D16A6

 

a crx is a good platform, and the engines are pretty much the same as any other honda, reliable, and peppy, but not fast in stock form. just make sure that the car is in good running order, and it should last for years to come if taken care of.

 

kinda of thread jacking but didnt feel like making a new thread. do crx's have back seats or are they only two seaters?

nutha question, would a crx with a d16 (ZC or watever) or a ef hatch civic with a d16 be quicker?

 

They have back seats too.

 

The JDM CRX's had a rear seat and some people in the US do the conversion. However, most say that you couldn't fit a 5 year old back there anyways, they just take away cargo room and adds weight.
