Everybody keeps posting about this. We need to get something put down if it is gonna happen. Detroit is out though. Maryland is a little too far. 8 hours is my limit for distance.

If i may interject, i lived in pittsburgh last year when the autoshow happened, and my current GF lives here in detroit. pittsburgh has a decent autoshow, but it is nothing compared to NAIAS. It really is awesome. Before I moved here, a friend of mine in pittsburgh told me, as he goes every year, you have to go at least once, and honestly, i cant wait. It took me about 5 hours in the hard snow in a RWD rental car to get here, but it was well worth it. I dont live far away now, and ill just end with this, if you live close enough that you can drive to it, do so...

I don't remember exactly how long it takes but it's way shorter than 6 hours. We always went through Canada, is that how google said to do it or do they say to go down through Cleavland and all that?

PS. two people have already posted and said that Maryland is too far... you two could go to Penn. (I know there's people from there) then all of you could meet us Wester NYers in Buffalo or somewhere. We'll make a spider web of car pools.

 

i am almost positive that cutting through canada is shorter than going down around the great lakes...

 

Good to know, I haven't done that trip across canada since I was 12 so I couldn't remember how long it REALLY takes.
