Mclaren F1 vs R33 skyline
I don't know if the Hennessey would be able to go much faster even, and the NISMO still gets top honors in the 0-60 sprint.
And md, I hate to steal your term, but that's quite the dyno-queen you've got there.
It may hang speed and acceleration-wise (I mean gee, it's only got twice as much power), but it won't handle or brake as well.
Let me know if there's anything important I missed in the video; I didn't even try to watch it since I'm on 56k...[:'(]

Maybe the Z-Tune goes around corners better than the Hennessey and Lingenfelter. The Bugatti is also AWD though and I don't see the Z-Tune being much faster around corners than it is. I will give you that the Z-Tune is a bargan compared to the Bugatti but I highly doubt it's as fast in a line as any of the other three cars. The Z-Tune also happens to be the heaviest of all 4 cars.

Well, the figures for all 3 of those cars conflict the ones I found (that Hennessey site posted above claims 3.1 for the 0-60 and 10.1 for the 1/4) so I was going off different numbers...
1.01 g's around a skid pad are no joking numbers for the Vette. The EVO MR is at like .94 or something and it toasted a Lambo on a road course to put that into perspective. Also what the vette losses in the curves it will make up 10 fold in a line.
stock MR is capable of better than a .94. ive seen them rated as high as a .99g. but also, people underestimate the significance of .02g difference between two cars. in drag racing terms, the bragging rights of pulling a 1.01 over someones .99 (which is a very impressive number for a stock car by the way, and very few cars could have come close to it 5 or 10 years ago.) is like me running low 12s, to your high 12s. in the same ballpark, but its going to take you a lot of work to catch up. oh, and BTW, it was an FQ400, not just an MR that chased down that Lambo. but it wouldnt take much in the aftermarket to get the MR to near the same level.
