Wow way to be a d!ck hamorhead yah he was serious but at the time if u actually read the whole thread and then get to his post its funny cause its humerous. Some people on here are just @$$ holes man wow.

Anyway im serious tho Reaper if its what u wanna do go for the STI haha its more power and performance even if u cant modify it for a while. Although u do have a nice Mustang, its still a v6 thus i say STI > Mustang.

Well as Josh and Trent already know, my mind was made up for me on friday around 5:15. Long story short, I now need a mirror, fender, skirt, and door, all for my passenger side. I'll post a thread on it in a few. Maybe I'll get an STi next year =/

Tell me about it... at least you got hit. I mean, there's nothing you could have really done. I hit the other guy, it was completely my fault. At least the Cobra bumper's all right, anyway. No company makes a reproduction '99/'01 Cobra bumper, so every single one out there was made by Ford. Add the fact that it's one of the most sought-after front bumpers for mustangs and they become extremely rare and pretty pricey.

Oh, and if anyone wants details, the thread's below this one, titled "iFail =/".

Like I said, of course it would happen the day I make up my mind that I'm going to sell the car and get an STi. Now there's no point in fixing it and selling it as I'd be putting $2k into it to get it to the point where I could get $4-5k for it, and there's no real point in trying to sell it as-is since I'll be lucky to get $2k for it =/

I'm still thinking I might just bite the bullet, fix as little as possible and see what I can get out of it. I'm sure my insurance quotes will have changed a little bit since friday though =/

If u just got that red door u bought to work properly and get it paint matched and all the elctical working wouldnt that be fine and u could sell it for $4-5000? oh and the sideskirt fixed? thatd all cost like $2000? I doubt that...is there more thats wrong with it that i dont kno of or missed? i tend to do that sometimes when i read through the threads real quick haha sorry if so.

The fender, door, skirt, and paint will probably be around $1k by the time it's all said and done. The car then needs rear wheel speed sensors, new tires, new brake calipers, pads, and rotors, camber/caster plates and an alignment, and a new shifter as the bushings for mine are worn and you can't get just the bushings for an aftermarket shifter when the shifter attaches to the top of the transmission, not to mention to put the stock front seats back in I'll need a passenger-side seat bracket as my old one is FUBAR. All said and done, the total cost of fixing it would be between $1500 and $2k.
