Ok so I was seeing a chick for a good while. Around Febuary I was ready to get hitched. She started acting different so I backed up and in the end called it quits. Fast foward to Monday(yes 4 days ago) I get a text from her. She ask if I could come by to "talk" to her. I got worried as I thought maybe I had a kid on the way so I text her back.

Me: "What exactly do you want to talk about"

Her: "I just feel as if we need to talk about us"

Me: "You can say what you need to in text or not say it at all"

She calls 3/4 times, I do not answer as honestly I still care about her alot and just would rather not kick up the dust of all the bs that went down, the bad feelings, I had been a bit depressed about the whole thing till a month or so ago. So I figured I'd just not hear her voice and I'd be ok so I wanted to keep it to text. She leaves me a message saying she would like to talk to me in person and to please call her back. I never did.

We exchange text all week, I tell her I am not coming over or going to talk to her for the reason I stated above(god I am stupid.....honest but stupid)

So tonight I go to the Spring Nationals at Bristol Dragway(Man I loved it.....nothing like watching a car go mid 4's at 335mph) Anyway back to what I am bitching about....This girl text me every 10 minutes or so just making small talk, I returned text and such but she was hell bent on actually talking on the phone. So i gave in and called her. She wants to meet up with me and talk, I try and try to avoid it but I let it slip that I was taking a ride down to NC at around 2 tomarrow. She is like I'll go, I'll go. At this point I'm like the hell with it, I'm not the type to come out and say "**** you I want nothing to do with you and there is no "us" to talk about" so I give in.

I dont know what she wants but if it is me and her to be together I dont know what I am going to do. I honestly love this girl with all my heart but I dont know if I am setting myself up for nothing but drama and bull**** in the end.

 

wow!! what drama. well just hold your ground and even tho you love her, would it be worth getting back with her? just think about it in all perspectives. good luck with the talk man. if she wants to get back with you, think of why you left her in the first place.

of course for me, i'm always one to give an unlimited amount of chances.

Here is the thing. I did love her and think I still do but other than that was the sex. We had the greatest sex and I am not kidding. I am not one to brag but I have been with over 15 chicks and the sex with her is by far the best.

 

would you marry someone just for the sex? honestly....getting married and having to deal with the same person for the rest of your life. think about it.

 

There is alot to the whole thing other than what I wrote. It is not just the sex, we get along very very well. Sure we did argue a bit here and there but nothing major.

She has 2 kids, I love them as much as her and she had in her mind that I felt as if they would "be in the way" which was/is very far from the truth and I never gave her any reason to think that way that is what gets me. There were a couple of other things but all was from the "outside" it was never problems between her and I but ya know certain things put a very big strain on a relationship.

 

understandable. if both of you were so in synk.... then i say give it another shot. argueing is going to happen regardless. as far as the outside strain, well if you're talking about the biological father, i'm sure you and her can work something out. my mom and step dad did when my mom got married. and that was back in like 1991 and they're still together. its all up to you.

just weigh it out, which way would be better in the long run? seems like you and her can go far and her kids will think of you like a dad. how old are the kids? if they're young enough then they might learn to call you dad. lol

 

marty good luck man ive been married 5 years there has been good times and bad but we work it out the main thing to remember is its 50/50 and you have to have trust if you do still love her give it another chance i'm a pushover too but i stand my ground but my wife is a wonderful girl and we have a great 17 year old son so take it slow and see what happens

 

looks like we are seeing the soft side of marty.... dont worry im a pushover on most of the things i do... I would try and give it another shot..
