You know, I have a 94 VX 5 speed....and I cant get better than 25 MPG (on the interstate) outta that bastard which hurts like a son of a gun considering its only got like a 9 gallon gas tank (not including the 3 gallon reserve) and I work 40 miles away....

Its got the D15B7 Vtec in it....I have a non vtec D15 motor would that get better gas mileage?

You either need a tune, Live in the mountains, or drive in first gear the whole 40 miles to work...LOL
I drive like a **** and still get 32-34mpg. I jackrabbit start, down shift to hold higher RPMS etc....The best I ever had was 38mpg on a long trip with open road. 95 DX HB.

I have bad mileage too
What kind of tune do you mean?
I live in Houston and it's pretty much flat land. Maybe it's my tranny?
I get 22-25 mpg on a d16z6 and 32 mpg the best on freeway driving (with no stops/traffic)
