My DIY CNC machine build (the beginning)
Well, it just so happens that I'm a habitual-drunk-ebay-shopper and managed to buy a used HobbyCNC EZ driver board package with a couple of stepper motors. What this means is that I will now be building a DIY tabletop CNC machine to machine wood, acrylic, and may be soft metals. The plan is to keep it as simple as possible with as large as possible working area. I will most likely start with making the machine out of wood and than based on that redo it our of aluminum. Pics are to follow soon. This is exciting!

On the same note I'm gonna ***** this thread with "loosely related" youtube vids.
Here I found one of the uses for the motors and the controller that I got... I doubt that I will be doing this, but who knows what will cross my mind.

Be patient... plus it's not going to be exciting at first. Right now it's just a PCB and some motors. For now the plan is to assemble everything, get an ATX power supply modified to work with this this and play around with Mach3 to learn how to make the motors move.
