i dont do the powder coating..my friend works at a welding shop. that does like.. cherry pickers..and those scissor platform lifts ... for the nation.. and they have powder coating.. i was gonna get my valve cover dun..but never got the chance.. maybe if i convince the kid whos buying it to let me have the cold air.. then ill do it..

i wasnt hitting on you.. just wondering... do you go to college??

and no.. not much engine work requires too much strength... if you have the right tools... but theres some things...

The minor stuff you really don't need much strenght for...an intake is really nothing more than removing a few plastic parts and putting a shiney tube in their place....which is probably aluminum and weighs nothing...and most engine work is about precision, not strength
Thanks, that makes me feel better. That was a major worry of mine.

And my_hidden_romance, no, no college. College is for winners and my momma beat the thought that I'm a winner out of me a long time ago.

Nice work LBH! If you think THAT is an "easy" mod, than you are going to have no problems doing a lot of things. Intake especially!

I guess you'll just have to tell me the process of powder coating so I can do it myself
Powder coating is not something one could do by themselves. It requires a big oven to "bake" the "powder" on...my uncle does it for a living.

If you really wanted one, I could make it happen. Theres a guy local who does all his own powdercoating. And he does AMAZING work for a more than fair price.
