fallfast is right your attitude will help you. I got nailed doing 85 in a 55. I didn't have a current registration or insurance (everything was up to date but didn't have papers) I apoligized a hundred times and told him that i was acting stupid and i usually don't do things like that. I was very nice to him. yes sir no sir. so i ended up getting a 107 fine (pa) for disobeying traffic signs no points. I would have got alot of points and maybe lose my license for a lil...be nice to cops they are people to. they might be a lil bitchy but wouldn't you if you had to deal with aholes all day..

 

When i was learning to drive shift, I almost crashed into a firetruck when I madean illegal "U" turn in a four way stop. I got pulled over by a cop who saw everything, however he was coolabout it when i told him that i was learning to drive shift. All he told mewas to be more careful and that I shouldn't make "U" turns in that coner, I didn't evenhad my license back then[8D]

 

i was very nice to the cop.
my mom works with them cops from a different county on a regular basis, and she taught me that if they are lecturing you, 99% of the time they arent gonna write you a ticket.

i dont think the cop was waiting for drunks cuz i got the ticket on my way to work at about 10.30AM....

ill call the courthouse later and see if the ticket has posted yet.....

$125 dollars for the infraction and $26 for legal fees for traffic school. i found an online traffic school for $19.
total cost=$170. all because i was in a hurry to get to work.

if i go to court and contest to it will they ususally lower the fine?
i literally have no record...no accidents/tickets/arrests or anything.
are the courts usually leniant?
$170 seems a bit steep....lol.

 

i got a 62 in a 25.....mine came out to 343.50, cop wasn't too happy, this was when i was just going out with my girlfriend...2 years ago. anyways that cop was mean 6'ft something outta this world.

count yourself lucky. A little over a year ago, my friend wrapped his 3000GT around a tree and died because he was in a hurry to get to work. It absolutely sucks to see a 19 year old get put in the ground because he was late to work.
