There was a sizzle and a pop, then darkness and some smoke. The power port finally finished breaking off the motherboard. I tore into the computer hoping to save it, and look what I came up with.

Yeah, the laptop is in limp mode. Intel SpeedStep stepped the processor down to 600mhz. The battery won't charge and it's slow as hell, but it runs enough that I can backup my files to the external drives or the Raid 6 array.
