im pretty sure N Korea having Nuclear weapons can only lead to war. Diplomatic resolutions have had the US spinning their tires in the mud. I dont see any way around this other than the UN finally stepping to the plate and disarming North Korea.

and if they dont?

Its only a matter of time before a Terrorist Regime gets a hold of Nuclear weapons. Osama Bin Laden has said he would have used Nuclear Weapons on the US if he had them at his disposal. Given North Korea's ties to Pakistan, and Bin Laden believed to be on the border of Afghanistan and Pakistan, i dont see anything good coming from this.

what we need to do is set up a Naval Blockade and position Naval ships around the entire pennisula with Scuds aimed at North Korea @ all times. Put them in a situation like we were in the Cuban Missle Crisis.

That is exactly what we should do to create cold war II

Doing so is just a reason for them to make more nuclear war head and aim it to US home land (and exactly how cuban crisis put the US in danger).
Countries give out their technologies to fight somebody else. We gave Saddam and some other countries his biological weapon to fight Soviet. The Soviet gave them out to N Korea to balance that. And N Korea would do that if they think they are being invaded. I personally think that all they did, all the tests is just to get the attention to talk ( they know what they'll get if they launch one of those missle).
China have nuclear and is a communist country, why isnt it consider a threat? Because they are not against us and theyre now "friend".
Turning enemy into friend is what we need to do. If we dont invade them, or make them think so, their weapon would stay in the country.
Their economy is corrupted since they used all the money they borrowed to build building, facilities (and military) rather than produce foods and other service (thats why they get abandoned from the rest of world because of their debts). Now they use their weapon to get more aids which is not a smart move at all. I dont know what is the best way to this but invading them is certainly not one of them

i for one think that we aren't going to war anytime soon. first we have to get out of Iraq. second congress isn't going be as trigger happy as they were with iraq either. Bush won't press for another war unless it is absolutly needed. i think they tested it just to show that they have one. they want some sort of leveler for negociations (<--- spelling). They now that they are vastly out maned. I think that cooler head will preveal.

I hate to break it to everyone, but if you dont think Kim is going to sell his nuclear technology to the highest bidder think again. These weapons will be on the black market in less than 3 years.

We will eventually get dragged into this, after the UN f cks it up

Nuclear materials and technologies have been on the black market for ages (after the corruption of Soviet Union, nobody controlled this stuffs in those countries) However, it requires a lot of facilites and skilled nuclear engineers to develop nuclear weapon. N Korea could do so because they have everything they need. Oh, by the way, Scuds are Soviet/Russian missles, I dont think we have them. We have missles called Patriot.

Its not just China and japan with us... its the whole world that is not cool with nk. Russia is even against them.

China is communist BUT, china wouldnt do so well if we didnt give them anymore money and that would be dumb on their part to screw with us.

SRT is right about Japan. They have a kick *** navy.
