Well the other day a friend of mine was out shooting the annoying animals that eff up your farm land and came across this pup. Someone had left it out in the woods in the middle of no where, it had dug itself down into the ground the best it could under so blackberry bushes...was pretty wobbly and weak when he first brought him home, but now that he's been at my place for a few days he's acting like a normal little pup.

Haven't figured out exactly what he is...looks a lot like lab....and almost a like there is a little chow there mixed in...but I dunno...anyone here have any ideas?

 

Kinda looks like a Mutt. Although you could be right about the lab...chocolate lab, but their hair isnt that long....hmm, my friend would know. Go get a dog book lol

 

lol...yeah I have a lab and normally the hair isnt that long...but they are pretty "fluffy" when they are pups...this ones pretty young still.

 

im surprized that the puppy lasted that long ouside bu its self. But have fun with it though. It looks like it starting to have a little fun now.

 

Nonetheless, its a mix, theres no question about that.

 

^^ yeah mix for sure....honestly it doesnt matter what it is exactly...but just curious you know. And yeah its having fun..I have 2 1/2 year old black lab and my 3 kids that are 7, 6, and 5. So its getting lots of attention. Kids are stoked because just a few weeks ago we had to put down one of our other dogs...so this will take their minds off that.

 

Your a very nice person for taking the dog in. Im a animal lover but my finace is allergic so i cant really have animals. I hope later on when i get a rel house i can have the needed space to have a nice dog or two since my finace cant deal with cats and thats all were allowed to ahve were i live.

 

PUPPY!! He's so cute, i just want to hug him and squeeze him and call him george

Yeah man we have 1 1/3 acres of yard in the middle of a 98acre grass seed field...I have lots of room...and I mean look at the little guy...they were planning to take him to the shelter the next day....couldnt let that happen.


**Edit: and how's this for gay (or whatever you wanna call it) without any coercion the kids named him Duke....my female black labwas given thename Daisy when we got her 2.5 years ago as a pup....
