Default Old man hit my civic!

I had my car at my buddy's shop and an old man in a huge black caddy backed into my car. He hit it so hard that he pushed me into my buddys srt-4 that was parked in front of me. Then left. I had to chase him down, and follow him home. He said he didn't realize he had hit my car. I believe him, because of the way he acted. He was very apoligetic and gave me his ins. info. I'm going to have to paint the front and rear bumpers. Old people suck as drivers!

Interestingly young people get in more accidents and thus we get stuck with higher insurance rates. I think we rag on old people as drivers just as a cop out. Sorry to hear about your situation though dude. Maybe that particular individual should be off the road. How can you miss the fact that you hit a car?

This old guy rear ended me and destroyed my bumper and i think he bent my frame a little bit. Old people drive slow, that pisses me off. I got places to go

ditto, except for Catera (POS). Just as the quote from "cars" states: "float like a caddy, sting like a bimmer"

Anyone who rides a motorcycle can tell you watch out for old people, they will kill you and not even know it. In Germany they must surrender the license at age 65 but over there they have public transportation whereby you don't really need a car to go anywhere you want. Something should be done about those so decrepit they can't see beyond the hood, ( bonnet for you brits ) . I realize our society is geared for private autos and public transportation is practically nonexistent but I'm sure something could be done to ensure our safety from them as well as for their own protection.
