God thankyou. It is not about not likeing a person because of their sexual prefference it is about the dis-trust that has been shown by your father to say the least.

 

In situations like that, you get so shocked that you just never know what you would really do. Glad you took the calm way (I would have freaked out)

 

Damn man that is ****ed, i wouldn't know how to react either, honestly if it was me i would have ben speechless and walked away at that point cause i would have been in shock. and i agree with marty's last post, if i were to yell/kick his *** it wouldnt be because he is gay, it would be because he never told me and i would feel like there is no trust amongst us anymore, and if had of just told me things would be cool.

And who knows... maybe he is By not just gay

 

i agreee with marty totally, i would've of stopmed his **** for not telling me,(being so close) and not abuot bein gay, i dont mind gay ppl, as long as they dont hit on me...

 

Wow man, that is a LOT to handle.. But, it doesn't make him any less your dad. If you think about it, it's probably going to be a lot harder for him to work up the courage to tell you, then it is for you to hear it, ya know? Good luck with everything man
