everyone tryong to scam you. i posted an ad about the tv im selling and i get this back from different people but saying the same sh*t

Best regards[/align][/align]and i get this from every single person and im tired of it. i got about 15 since i listed last night. some of these people live in london and some live in canada. isnt there a scam goin on right now that if someone sends you a check and you cash it then they can get all your personal info?[/align][/align]

 

You get used to it after a while. I've probably recieved like 70 emails from scammers over the last year from Craig's List.

 

I always email scammers back acting interested. I wish everybody else would too. If we all waste their time they'll have less time to screw grandparents out of their life savings.

 

There is this one thing I saw online. This guy was selling a PowerBook and was emailed about it from a scammer. The scammer did his scam thing so the guy played along. He told him he would ship the unit to the guy. Made him pay shipping, insurance, and customs on the PowerBook. Mind you, this is a $1000+ laptop so its all very expensive. The guy didn't send an actual laptop, he took a 3 ring binder and drew a keyboard on it as well as a screen and sent that. There is a website that explains all the details of the reverse scam. They actually had someone in England(scammer lived in England) scope out the mailing address on delivery day to make sure it was recieved.
