My daily driver is a 04 Chevy Cavalier. Slow as crap. My project, hopefully to be screaming down the road this spring, is a 1968 Firebird. I am looking at buying a civic but want to wait to find a good one.

I've been known to roll in my parents cars (Im just 17, as of November 10th). Toyota Camry, and Dodge Intrepid. I hate them so much though. After driving my car, being in an automatic, and lame ones at that, its just not right.

are you kidding me? those cars are POS. Ask vovka86 - that was his first car. SHO is a different story though and from what I read is completely different from your regular tauruses. I also believe they used yamaha motors

Fords are POS's. It just so happens the Taurus is a part of Ford. The SHO is in the same boat. The motor is strong, but the car around it sucks ***. Ask me how I know.

If taken care of, and it was made on a Wednesday, they do alright. I bought my Civic to have a reliable daily driver, but I still have two SHO's.

I haven't had any problems with my babies. '97 Taurus GL, '90 Taurus SHO and an '01 Sable LS. My previous cars were: '92 Taurus GL, '89 Ford Ranger XLT, several Dodge Caravans/Plymouth Voyagers, and a '95 Dodge Intrepid.

But my baby is my '97 Taurus GL. She's got serval mods and won COTM for August '05 over at the Taurus forums. The only major mechanical failure I've had since I've had her (July '98, 30K miles previous fleet car) was the transmission that went out this summer at 112K miles. A nice rebuild, installed shift kit and 75K mile warranty, it's the only thing I've ever really replaced on this car. Engine mods though, that's a different story!

And yes, that's a dual exhaust on a Taurus.

What can I say, Russians like BMW's ah? Da!

Heres my gas gusler Chevy truck. Also, I will be buying a 4th gen prelude with h22 in the summer, so no pics for now.
