People who "like sports"
People like to watch sports, what is so hard to understand about that? Yes, there is an obvious difference between participating, and spectating. But what is so "wrong" about being a spectator?
Most "big sports fans" that I know played that sport in high school, or with their friends growing up, etc. Just cause they don't play anymore doesn't mean they can't enjoy watching a game.
This thread still has no legit point.

I like sports, I like watching them and I like playing them. I play tennis and soccer quite often for fun and for my school for tennis. I don't understand what is wrong with saying you like sports if you are just a spectator though. I have never played football for a team unless you count just playing it with friends and still like the sport.
Also, I agree that there are too many people that are out of shape but I don't believe it is as bad as most people make it out to be like someone said earlier. My friends and I are all in good shape and range from the age of 16 to about 28 years old.
