I got a speeding ticket yesterday[:'(]. And I was thinking i should get a radar detecter. I was wondering what everyone thought of them. And what brand everyone uses. I was thinkin about getting the passport, but i wanna hear what everyone has to say first.

I had the same thoughts as you, 05 civic, I even asked Mike, from Moble AV, He recomended the Passport Escort, but I've heard good things about the Valentine V1 also, he said theyre the best ones, and are so expsenive because cops keep coming out with different 'bands' and those are the main companies that can keep up with them

 

DAMN the valentine is 300+!!! Well there goes my subs. []

 

So is the Passport Escort, but just think how fast it will pay off, if it saves you from acouple tickets. Also try and get that photo blocker spray for your lisence plate's, that will help prevent costly 'red light' tickets

 

That is true... But i honestly dont speed to much, i just screwed up since i didnt see the cop in pure daylight [:@]. So i guess it will be worth the money like you said.

 

hands down... ESCORT is the best. ill tell you why. Ive said it once and ill say it again, Escort make radar guns for the fuzz!
