Default possibly my next ride?

okay, so my friend's dad owns a used car lot and he has an immaculate condition, stock 95 ex 2dr mantrans Civic. i've talked him down to about $4500++ which is $500 less than blue book on it. the only scratches on this car are a little paint chip missing above the driver door and a 5 inch scratch on the driver qp. other than that it is perfect. it has 130k miles on it. only problem is, i'm poor right now, i can't sell my car for 3 more weeks until it gets out of the shop so i have to hope they don't sell it before then. so yeah i'm excited about finally getting something i can work on for real unlike a d17pos. just thought i'd share my excitement. oh yeah its green with black int.

Seems a little high to me too. I paid $5k for my Civic back in 2001 with 124k. It was in pretty good condition back then too (it needs some work now).

Thats pretty pricey for an EG. I've seen a couple EGs on Craig's List for under $3000.

That's a decent price. Hope you are able to get it.

And just because the D17 is a bigger challenge to "tune" doesn't make it a POS. The fact that it doesn't respond as well as other D series engines to bolt-ons makes it a POS. Get it right!!!! lol

that's kind of a lot of money for a car that's 11 years old. 3g's should be about the average. 4500 is a dx w/ a b swap. i suggest you keep looking. u'll find one when u least expect it.

The car IS owned by a dealership. He could buy one from a private seller for less.
