i'd say shop around a bit. what year bluebook prices are you looking at? last i checked, EG's blue book price was between 2.3k and 4k. i think you can do better.

i don't want a teg. an ek hatch would be my preference, but i can't find any around here for sale at a decent price. if i can't get that then i want a 92-95 ex. complete b16 swaps are going for about $400 around here, so i need a good body, that runs great right now until i can afford the swap. the blue book on that car is $5005 from a dealer.

 

id go 92-95 w/ swap.

or you could get a foxbody mustang that runs in mid 12's for 5.

I don't think that is too much, my CX hatch was $4000 before i traded in my old car, that was from a dealership too though.

 

Dude I know of a add on another forum that has a 98 hatch with a B16A2 swap and new paint for the same cost.

 

WTF...where do u live? I want a swap for $400, I can't find a B16 engine for under $1200. U must have a FAT hook up.
