Question about trip to Europe
i'd use the money on the trip..just try not to buy useless junk.
last year, i went to italy with my brother..it kicked ***! i really didn't spend a lot on gifts or anything like that...most of my money went to train travel, lodging, admission to museums, and food/beer. try local beer while you are there that you can't get over here. no sense in travelling that far and drinking heineken or warsteiner. also, be sure to take a lot of pictures. then post them when you get back.

If by fun you mean they roll you for your cash and leave you screaming in French at the top of your lungs outside of a train station. Then yeah, they are a blast!

when i went to europe in 2006, i spent close to a grand once i got over there. it cost me four grand to pay for the trip and plane tickets and all of the hotels. but once you get over there money goes quick. my advise, go, spend money, its a lifelong memory. you'll be with friends and see some really nice stuff. sure the french smell bad and the italians are insane drivers, but they make some darn good pizza (itll ruin any pizza or pasta you have in america ever again). Your car will be here when you get back. another tip, ask for mineral water over in europe, otherwise if you ask for just water, you get teh seltzer garbage. theyre fiends for that stuff there. O, and take lots of pics!
hah i forgot about that water...in italy, say you want it "sans gas" i think for our trip..the tickets were a little over a grand each (from miami international to heathrow to rome). then i spent about the same in 13 days. the food was great..ha we even went to two chinese places while in italy.
the chinese there is pretty cheap, though the portions weren't huge. still good stuff.. one thing in italy to watch out for is (besides crazy drivers) a pasta that uses squid ink as a sauce (or at least it is based on the ink). i can't remember the name..didn't try it, but our uncle lives in sicily and said it was pretty bad.

Just act confindent and say your from Canada, they're not any worse than we are. It's when people are obviously clueless tourists that they get taken advantage of so, act like you know what you're doing even if you don't.
