rb20det should I grab it now?
well we all know the economy is in a struggle so I have been pondering a few things. I recently found a nearby guy with a rb20det motor/tranny/ecu available for sale and he is asking a pretty damn good price for it. I checked out the motor for myself the compression and such checks out well and all looks pretty good. Im wondering what do you guys think I should do. Buy the rb now, save myself quite a bit of money and then spend the next 3/5 months looking for a older 240sx to throw it into? The only thing that makes th decision tough is that I have been unemployed for quite a long time until recently I nabbed myself a nice job with Finning/CAT so I think I can manage the funds later on this year but the economy is making me nervous on decisions like this. What would you do? Should I buy it now while its cheap (theres risk though if I lose my job 4 months from now obviously) or wait and then mabey wishing I would have got it when it was cheap lol. It is on the rare side that these deals/bargains come along in my area. I suppose at the worst I could sell the swap again?
