Default in Should I buy now?

I am looking to purchase a 2006 Civic. I live in Northeren CA. Given a price of $17, 600 + tax and lic.
What I am wondering is this....Is this a good price and is this a time to buy...or should I wait...

Thanks!!

The mileage is a BIG reason. I have a 2001 Honda Ody but the 18mpg sucks!!
I spoke to a Honda Dealer and he told me point blank.."STAY AWAY from the hybrid right now."
Problems with the battery...will need to be replaced in 2-3yrs and will cost $6000. YOWZA!!

How big is the trunk? Can you fit a few pieces of luggage?

I have had three Hondas in my lifetime...88 Hatchback Accord, 2000 Accrod and 2001 Honda Ody.

Is this 2006 Clearance time??
