i think we all can sit back and analyze the situation but its doing no good. it doesnt matter who the president was during this time but take into account all that bush has been through with the war and 9-11 and ask your self do you honestly think you could have done a better job? who ever the president may have been, democrat republican or what ever, they would have been given a hard time for the decisions they made during these last few years. there is no easy way out of the things that have happened but its part of history now and there is no way to change it so i think we should respect our government for what they do whether you think it was the right decision or not. there is no way we could do what they do on a daily basis. sorry to ramble on but maybe we should sit back and look at what we have and be thankful we can get out and about without someone blowing up a car in our face. idk just my opinion.
You are a tool.

The execution was somewhat of a disgrace. The Iraqis agreed to execute him and that he would be treated according to the Geneva Convention. He wasn't. He was tortured and tormented. There's was no justice in that.
Saddam needed to be held accountable, but not like that.
i think rmv has a good point. and Saddam killed and tortured millions of people. he made his bed and he had to lay in it. i dont think he should have been executed they didnt give him life why should they be able to take it away. if you kill him your doing the same thing your punishing him for doing.

Political thread... EVERYONE TAKE COVER!!!
HAHA!! I am staying out of this one! Seriously guys, drop the thread... I've started some pretty bad arguements on this thing and came out of it realizing that NOTHING HAPPENS! All it does is get people mad at eachother and causes people to help eachother less on this forum.

I'd say the biggest champs on this site is Misha and AgentofDarkness... we've had some heated debates with those guys and after it is all over they still give me respect and answer my never ending questions.

You aren't going to change someone's mind by posting your political rants on a website.... show your thoughts when you vote.

I'll just say this, the government does not represent what the American publics opinions, actions, or mind set. The government is overran with theifs, liars, and greedy'ness and not all of us are like that, hellthe majority of us are not.

that's because smart honest people stay out of politics

I was hoping for a few more "YEEHAWS" and misplaced statements about terrorist organizations/the 9-11 attacks (where's Ben at?). Ah well.

Cderalow, I don't agree. In fact, I tend to agree with the opposite of that statement, as smart and honest people usually realize the importance of staying involved in politics. Just because good people seem outspoken by crooks and idiots, does not mean they're not involving themselves.

And on that note, I'd recommend anyone on here to watch CSPAN sometime and see what our elected representatives are really about.

Sorry, man, have to partially disagree with you on this. IMO, person should have certain personality traits to be able to climb political ladder. Honesty is not among those traits...

Saddam died instantly, his death should have been slow.
And you have a right to say that because?????
Because its his opinion, and believe it or not in the U.S. he has the right to express it at free will.
