ok i know there are some high school kids on here also...who had to tak the sats this last sat. worst 5 1/2 hours of my lifeeee...also i jsut need to make a new post so my post number isnt 6x6 anymore haha but ya

 

yeah, I hardly remember those, but they do suck.

I took it in 8th, 10th, and 11th grade, and then the ACT in the 12th for good measure.

Not the most pleasant of ways to spend my Saturdays...

But come to think of it, i'd rather take the SAT/ACT than my fluids, dynamics and thermo tests within the next 48 hrs...

I took the ACT's. I don't even remember what my score was. Then again that was about 4 or 5 years ago. I don't remember them taking very long.....Damn I'm starting to feel old, I'm starting to forget stuff from High-School and I only graduated in '06. How lame is that?

 

I scored an 1180 on my SAT's... I showed up ungodly drunk and was flipping a coin for questions I couldn't answer...the guy supervising couldn't help but LOL at me. The second time I tried sober and got an 1140...but that's years ago now.

 

It may comfort some of you to know of the effort underway to abandon the use of the SAT for the college admission process due to the misuse of SAT scores in predicting the true potential of a student:

Nooooooo! Dont abandon the SATs!!! Make all them youngins undergo the same amount of stress that we did!!! (BTW I went through zero stress as I never bothered to prepare for them and just winged it).

 

Yeah, there is some value in the hazing process.

 

I never had to take the SATs, but I did take the ACT 3 times. Sucked.

 

SATs, thank goodness I'm done with that. So lame. I finished, went to IHOP, went home and went back to bed.
