Good luck man. My brother once quit smoking as a birthday gift to his girlfriend. It didn't last forever, but she kept his *** in line for a while.

This doesnt help a whole lot, but I had 2 friends that quit cold turkey. they said it worked well for them, and they didnt have to spend any extra money for gum/patches. My mom quit when she was young, and she told me that she tried the gum, but she just got addicted to the gum. I guess the gum is better than cigarettes, but still. Good luck man. Ive heard quitting smoking is one of the hardest things youll ever do, but you will be so much better off in the long run. Keep everyone updated on how you progress.
let me tell you, smoking is for little girls who dont LOVE nicotine...i, on the other hand, loved nicotine...any kind of smokeless way that i could ingest tobacco, i would....snuff, side chew, sniff snuff (thats a MANS tobacca..snuff that you snort)...i just decided one day, that i was going to quit...when in college, i was using a TON of chew...i would chew in class and such...yes, it was gross, so save me your lectures...
i quit, and just didnt buy it anymore..after about 2 months, i went to a huge car show, and they were giving out free snuff...they gave me handfuls of it...for free..whole cans...and i took them all...i only ever opened one, and took only a few pinches out of it...the rest were eventually thrown away...
the point of the story...dont **** around, just quit...lets say that ive supported habits FAR worse than nicotine..the best thing to is just quit.

spoken like a true non-smoker(no offense). though it seems logical, its not the case. the physical addiction to nicotine is stronger than that of heroin. i know people that have had better luck quitting coke than cigarettes.

O, and I kno wat you mean Agent about your parents beating your ***. Im 18 and can legally do wat I want to my body, and if I smoked, my mom would kick my butt!
Haha probably. My dad reminds me sometimes, that "Even tho Im an 'adult' now, Im still his 'little girl'" Haha sometimes it drives me nuts cause Im not 4 anymore, but I guess hes right. Were always gonna be our parents children, even when we have kids, and they have kids.
OO and Patrick.. I used to date a guy who chewed, and it drove me crazy. Whenever he would, Id make him brush his teeth before he could kiss me. Eventually he quit, but even the smell of the chew would make me nauseas.

Mossy I quit too, cold turkey. Its tough but im over em now. I changed my entire lifestyle. I go to the gym 4 days a week (sometimes 5), I eat very healthy, and i dont smoke. You feel so much better. Hit the gym, run on the treadmill, after a minute you will feel like complete utter crap, but it gets better if u keep working out. Just remember when you want a smoke, how crappy you felt when you ran, and how crappy youre going to feel tomorrow when you run..........but remind yourself, if you DONT smoke that cig things will get better. Thats what I do, and its been working awhile now. Dont let those little things control your life, Suck it up and quit, dont put it aside anymore, man up and just do it. After 3-4 weeks youll be okay.
