Sounds like you guys are doing good, even if its hard. Listen to Pete and man it up. You can handle it.
This summer, I partied and drank a lot, (it was my summer after graduation, I took the whole summer off work). But most the ppl I hung out with smoked so I kinda did it as a social thing when we were drinking. Plus turning 18, I was excited to be able to BUY cigs. Then when I started clubbing a lot, I dunno if the clubs out there do this, but here they give out free packs of cigs all night. I went to the club Friday, and saw the girl who gives em out. I thought of you guys and walked the other way. Even tho I only did it occasionally, mostly with alcohol, thats how it starts a lot. Plus, like I said before, if my mom found out, she'd kick my ***!

They do that?! I'm so spoiled by the Smoke Free New York laws we have here. No smoking in any bars or restaurants, it's been that way for a couple years now.

i personally like the no smoking indoor thing, it sucks though that when you go outside everyone is crammed just outside the doo4r having a smoke, kinda pisses me off that people are too lazy to walk three seconds to the side[:@]

good job though amanda, make good choices and walk away from the devil temptress (cig lady). hey forty, looks like you and i started a small revolution on here with people trying to quit.
