I dunno if the clubs out there do this, but here they give out free packs of cigs all night.
They do that?! I'm so spoiled by the Smoke Free New York laws we have here. No smoking in any bars or restaurants, it's been that way for a couple years now.
passed in NJ now too.....theyll enforce it soon

Still legal here in Michigan, and I can't remember the last time I went to a bar, and DIDNT see one of the Cig people handing out smokes.

Mossy, I think you're right, hopefully we'll have a much healthier HCF when all this is said and done.

Update: Went to the bar for 4 hours yesterday. Played a lot of pool, hung out with some friends.....and didnt smoke 1 cig. It's getting a little easier, but I still shake like a leaf from time to time...

Well, I had to make a decision yesterday between smoking a cigarette, and twisting my stupid f(*&ing neighbor's head off his shoulders...

....I chose the smoke, first one in 4 days.

Way to go baker!!

quit hanging out with people that smoke, don't let anyone smoke in your house or car. Quit drinking anything that you had a cigarette with. After you have all the nicotine out of your system the rest is the habit of having it in your hand or mouth. gum or hard candy works for some at this point. I quit after twenty years of three packs a day. Cold turkey is the only way. One cigarette keeps the nicotine level up and you will never quit that way.

I work for a packaging company that handles a ton of candy. Suckers seem to be doing the trick for me
