So I'm adopting a dog...
also they like to eat stupid stuff when they are puppies. we went through 1200 in surgery to remove a large perscription bottle full of stones from our shepards stomach. it was needed if we wouldn't have done it it would have ripped his intestines....
she is a gorgeous puppy! i'd love to have a shepherd pup, but they are hard to come by around here for a decent price. the only thing i can tell you is to not be rough with her ears. if you rub them too rough, the cartilage will weaken and she'll get droopy ears. you're getting a great dog though...shepherds are so loyal. and she'll work as a great car alarm for you when she's riding along (if you dont mind dog hairs in your car)
my sister almost got carjacked in downtown kc, but she luckily had her shepherd in the car with her, and the dog was lunging over my sister to get at the f***er who was about to open the door.
you should post some pics of her on here when you finally adopt her!

i will share the picswhen i finally get her on the 30th. As for hair in the car - not a big problem, but dogs are banned from my car because claws and leather don't work very well together. I'm sure I'll come up with something; perhaps a rag over the seat.
