Ok, so I was driving home with a couple of buddies tonight(more like this morning 1am) but anyways, I was going 60mph down a long strait street with no cars. I remembered seeing a sign posted for 40mph. So I figured 60 was a safe speed and since it was late with minimal cars I would be fine. Well I guese not =(. I was less then 100 ft. from the 50mph zone when i got the ticket. Also I was cited for pace, not radar. When I saw the red and blue lights behind me he was atleast a football field away, so i dont understand how he could have been pacing me. I had two friends in the car who were also like wtf? I forsure thought it was radar. But anyways just felt like coming on here to b!tch since its my second ticket in a month. Also the cop didnt even really want to here my story or the fact that it was the first time I had ever driven the road. Also I think he could have been a little nicer and gave me a 59mph instead of 60. Would have saved me around $200.
