No, you just wedge it in. Google in, youll see it. Its this little thing that has two progns and you just bend it to fit nicely in n exhaust.

One of my ex-coworkers did one of those to my bosss GMC Jimmy right after he had been having tons of problems with it and just gone done paying a small fortune to have it fixed. The next day he rolled into work and his truck was all friggin dented up and we asked what happened and he said

"on the way home this pile started making funny noises again so I got pissed and when I got home I kicked the **** out of it"

OMG, Im glad I didnt put it there but it was hella funny.
