I was going to get a tat about a year ago, and then it hit me, not having one is going to make more of a statement then having one in this day and age.

^^^

He will know. Screw what someone else thinks its for. He will know and every time he sees it he will think of her. Trust me my tattoo on my shoulder was for a girl that I was (on and off again, but always in love with) for ten years. Then she married someone else. It happens, and you get over it, but even now four years after she got married I still think of her every time I look at it. LOL

Take it or leave it, but I know alot about tattoos and how they effect people and I just would hate for dbclutchin to have to go through that.

I have a full sleeve, and as everyone has said it hurts more in some places than others. Considering its going on your arm and is one solid color, I'm gonna say it won't hurt at all. It really starts to hurt (no matter where you get it) when you have multiple colors. They start with the darkest colors and go over it with each lighter color. My arm is pretty colorful, and by the time they get to the 3rd or 4th color in a spot it hurts like hell. Try to put your own personal spin on it (make it yours), it would suck to be walking down the street and see someone else with the exact same tattoo. Also, be careful, once you start it's very hard to stop. Kinda like crack.....
