the only reason people steal those cars is cause the owners leave them unlocked and running with the hope that someone will take it

At home you can do that you'll be fine. If it's cold out half the cars in the grocery store parking lot will be running. I've never done it, I always lock it up in town. At my house it's usually open though. But then again, so is my house, pool house, garage, etc. Pretty much a zero crime town.

I know where there's a mint vette all original from every body style they've made in a show room that's never locked with the keys in every car. These include an 04 Lingenfelter an '88 Callaway, a '90 Callaway and a '91 ZR1. He's got a 96 Viper and has an 06 Lingenfelter being built right now too. Anyone wanna pull a gone in 60 seconds stunt with me?[sm=grinangel.gif]

yeah. right. safe. in an SI. your car has one of the most stolen engines around. right up there with the GSRs and Type Rs. dont let your guard down around your SI, or it will get stolen eventually. let alone all of the other neat little accessories the SIs come with that other EK drivers would LOVE to have. even with an alarm, dont let your guard down. trust me.[&o]
If that's not an endorsement for de-badging/mis-badging, I don't know what is! Course I guess that wouldn't work if you had the signature Si blue paint color

Here's the top ten list of most stolen cars across the nation for 2004. Hmmm anyone still want to buy an integra???

1. 1999 Acura Integra
2. 2002 BMW M Roadster
3. 1998 Acura Integra
4. 1991 GMC V2500
5. 2002 Audi S4
6. 1996 Acura Integra
7. 1995 Acura Integra
8. 2004 Mercury Marauder
9. 1997 Acura Integra
10. 1992 Mercedes-Benz 600

50% of the list is Integras! That list was done by CCC Information Services Inc.

This list was done by National Insurance Crime Bureau for 2004 across the nation:

1. Honda Civic (1995)
2. Toyota Camry (1989)
3. Honda Accord (1991)
4. Dodge Caravan (1994)
5. Chevrolet C/K 1500 (1994)
6. Ford F-150 (1997)
7. Dodge Ram Pickup (2003)
8. Acura Integra (1990)
9. Toyota Pickup (1988)
10. Nissan Sentra (1991)

Again Honda dominates the list!
