SOOO. i was thinking of a painting my car black. or dark dark dark ....... dark blue. maaco is about a block away from my house. but i was thinking .... after i get my car painted, dont i have to contact someone about changing the color of my vehicle ?

insurance company ? dmv ? popo's ?

can someone tell me the details on how this is gonna work ?

 

here in nc you dont have to report a color change, but i beleive you have to do it in cali. as far as macco goes, they do decent paint work but i would suggest prepping the car yourself which is where macco fails. they really suck at prepping.

 

Yea you pay for what you get, but they spend no time at all on the prep work.

 

Prep work is what makes or breaks a paint job.

And are you sure you can paint a leased vehicle???

And if you did, you would have to update your registration with the DMV.

NO you cant paint a lease vehicle period!

why would you spend your time and money on a vehicle you dont even own anyway

 

You can't paint your leased vehicle. Just stick it out for however long your lease is and just get a car that you like next time.

si's came in silver? i thought they anly had two or three different colors to choose from.
