Yea today I was driving and somehow the valve cover gasket blew out and I didnt realize it till it was way too late and I locked it up. So Putting the D back in this weekend Its cool because I just bought a turbo so I guess I'm going to rebuild it and get it back in. Lifes a B****!!!!!

 

at least ur car still can go in to drive..! i have to do a manual swap in my garage!

 

Didnt you do a mini me on your car?Do you think it had any thing to do with that.

Damn, that sucks. But at least you got the D to make it driveable... And hey, look at the bright side. The engine will be better when you put it back in.

 

No I have a hybrid H series H23 block w/ H22 head. Remmy Yea if you want your more than welcome to join in on the fun. I talked to a guy last night and he wants the head he offered me 800 but i guess Im gonna tear it down and find out. How bad and I'll go from there.

 

when are you going to start rebuilding it? I could use some exp points.

 

Well I'm going to start on pulling everything out in about an hour. But as soon as i get it out im gonna but the big D15b7 in OH YEA. Then ill start on the motor prob monday.

 

Thats will take awhile having to put everything back stock.

 

Actually, it shouldnt really. Just tedious work.
