well IMO the AV6 is a lot like the RX8 in the fact that its not extremely fast or highly priced but its still a fun little car to drive.

for the record ive never driven an AV6. ive just heard its fun to drive for being not the quickest thing on the road.

i have, however, driven an RX8...and damn it really is a fun car to drive.

My mom has an Accord (I-4) Sedan and i've driven it. I like the torque that it has over my civic, but in the corners you can really feel the body roll. I've never felt that much body roll in my civic. But my mom has a 97 accord, so maybe things have changed.

remember that 97 was almost 10 years ago...and when 97s were new it was prolly in the last 4 or 5 months of 96...so that car is probably almost 10 years old. i bet a lot has changed since then. i think two months ago CnD test drove a new Accord V6. i'll see if i can find that.

EDIT: ok these are specs for the sedan. im sure the coupes numbers are higher cuz its a hundred or two pounds lighter. and the one C&D tested was automatic. so id have to guess the 6spd Coupe is over half a second faster in the QM and pulls .05 maybe even .1 more lateral Gs than this one

Curb Weight: 3419
BHP: 244 @ 6250
TQ: 211 @ 211
0-60: 6.6
0-100: 16.6
QM: 15.1 @ 95
Roadholding: .79g

again..thats the 5spd auto sedan. the 6spd manual coupe is easilly a mid 14 second car...prolly around .85g's.

my dad got the automatic sedan, but whatever, it's not my car, I don't care. Things's freaking huge, my entire family fits in the car with me and my brother and sister in the back seat, and we're not small people. And my dad claims his gas mileage is almost as good as mine.

I don't get much better than 30-33 highway, so I'd say 29 is "almost" as good.
