We have to give thanks!
not trying to start an argument, but hey, our oil and the freedom of an oppressed people, thats fine with me
1. The child soldiers in southern Uganda
2. Women in Saudi Arabia who is our "allie"
3. All of North Korea who isn't in the military, approximately 49 million people
4. The Kurds in southeastern Turkey, another good old "allie"
5. Those of native blood is the Mexican state of Chiapas
I could go into the archives and really start firing away, but doesn't it seem a bit strange that Iraq with the largest known oil reserves on Earth, who was a by far less threat than say North Korea who we definitely know has nukes, was first on our list of our countries to emancipate?
This is appreciation for the ladies and gentleman that are fighting for (in general) our freedom. For example, if we lost WWII, we would be typing german right now.

just wanted to say that im in the military and this is rad that this thread is up. I dont care if you like the military or not, as long as you respect the people who are keeping you safe . and i also wanted to say that its a different world over there, so until you see it first hand, you shouldnt be so quick to judge. peace
fort id ad my part...Being British, id have to go with wot Mad7s said. as fo WWII...you cant exactly say it was your war, yes you were invovled but it only realy hit home wen pearl harbour happened then you were more or less in WWII...So you lot would actually be speaking Japanese and id be speaking in german...But hey Honda would still be here!!! Aslo 1 more thing, all we know about your military is a two words"Friendly Fire" which by the way isnt.
actually Honda might not be here had we not bombed Hiroshima and Nagasaki. after they surrendered, they agreed to demilitarize, and a lot of the industry started going into technology instead of military. also, i think there was some money that was given to Japan to jumpstart the industries. the world would probably be speaking Japanese if they had the lead in military that they have in cars. so its a good thing they decided to concentrate on the industries.
