ok honestly your posts that don't say anything are really getting to me. If you don't have anything important to say than please don't post. Your post count doesn't mean anything.

I'm not saying I never speed... but I have rules that I follow pertaining to how fast I'll actually go in a given speed zone. For example:

15 zone = 15mph; they're residential zones and I try to show respect to people living there by not flying through.
25 zone = 25mpy; the same theory as the 15 zone.
35 zone = 37; 35's are usually sparsely populated zones, and 35's a bit slow for me.
45 zone = 50; with the way my car's geared, 45 puts me between 4th and 5th, whereas at 50 I can have it in 5th without lugging the engine.
55+ zone = 5 over; most LEOs won't care about 5 over at highway speeds.

My point is it's immature and idiotic to come on here crying that you got a ticket. It's pretty bad when you post on the internet looking for sympathy.

Now on the other hand, if someone posts that they got a ticket that they felt was unjust (as is the case with cronic) and they plan on fighting the ticket in court and are asking about the court case, I'll let them know what's probably going to happen.

Here's a little story about a kid, much similar to you. He was in a lil civic, doing 25 over the posted limit. Lil rice burner flys around the corner, nearly takes out the back of a Dodge ram, and instead takes the shoulder, cuts off the truck, and runs into the back of the biker. Now the biker is on the ground, sliding and and rolling at 70 MPH. And all for what? The biker is now harmed for following the law, and being a good rider?
You might not see 20+ over as a big thing, but trust me kid, it becomes a big thing. Thanks to a kid much like you, I no longer have my nice *** motorcycle, I cannot work due to injurys from the accident. I could have died from this little kids bull crap. Kid didn't even stop. Just left me on the road.

I hope the judge impounds your car and revokes your license.

lol reaper i dont feel the ticket was unjust. I deserved it forsure cause I was speeding. But is ur attitude and the op has a bad one. I'm just really pissed about that ticket because it added to a lot of problems that I have had in the past 4 months. But yeah complaining when you get a ticket for going 20+ over is retarded. You deserved it. Anyways my general rule is 5-7mph over the speed limit no matter what is posted will not get you a ticket. Cops wont pull you over for going 10mph most of the time, although it all depends on what they are doing. If they are out looking for speeders maybe, depends on what the posted speed limit is. They will probably give you a break. But 5-7 you will be fine because they have to take into account that their speedo is not exact, your speedo is not exact, and there radar/laser gun is not exact. So they have to give you a grace period.

I doubt I will get my license taken away. Probably a $200 fine and one Saturday of Traffic School. Yay for military.

To the one who asked it was on I-64E near E. Little Creek Rd. a 1/4 mile from my exit.

I've went longer then a year without driving. Military schools suck.

But here is a question to those who are being d***heads about this post.

Why waste your time and money on making your car fast if you are going to do the speed limit? To show off? Yea there will be one of you to reply with, "I'm legit I go to the track." Good story. I bet there was a time when you wasn't though.

I wasn't bitching about my ticket, I could careless. It's just a bummer. But s*** happens, just like it happened to guy with the motorcycle story. Good story, doesn't affect me cause I still keep look out for the little 2 wheelers. Usually they are going faster then me, so it means nothing.

Ignorance is bliss, huh? I mean, that kind of stuff would never happen to you, it's mathematically implausible, right? Yes, I speed; I've already admitted that. And yes, I take it to the track when I want to go fast. Tracks are clean. Tracks have EMTs standing by in the event something unfortunate happens. You actually improve as a driver running at a track. And if you weren't complaining, what exactly where you posting for? "I hate Virginia"? Sounds like complaining to me...

And I have yet to drive a street-legal motor vehicle that couldn't hit 100mph stock. What's the point in having something that can dive right into the triple digits if you don't do it? By your logic, we should all be driving around at 100+ mph.

The only one different is your rule for 35, and even there you're going 3mph faster than me lol

And cronic, if you haven't noticed I usually only have the attitude when someone does something incredibly stupid and won't man up to it.
