everything is workin out fine so far, doesnt ride bad, no rubbing, welds are strong as f*ck. so say what you want but im not a dumbass and i did it the right way.

There is no right way to cut springs, it's all the wrong way to lower a car.
Either way, post some pics.
You should have just bought eBay coilovers for like $50, it would have been at least a better idea than cutting springs.

i highly doubt the welds are gonna break. the **** is solid. You could hold a damn elephant with it

That'd actually be the wrong way to cut springs. You can cut standard-rate springs (if you cut progressive-rate springs you'll mess up the rates hardcore). The thing is, you can't use any kind of heat to cut the springs (welding the springs back together would mean you're applying heat)... heat is what screws up the springs more than anything. When people cut springs the right way they cut a coil or two off the top/bottom of their springs; they don't cut a few coils out of the center and weld the spring back together. That's just asking for an accident.
