You welded the springs to the shocks?!
So now when the springs break how will you get them off?

Sorry dude, but there's a right (safe) way and a wrong (potentially deadly) way to modify your car. We're only trying to help.

[edit] here is a guy right here on the forum selling good lowering springs. Once he follows the rules and posts pics and a location, he'll probably be legit. Check him out. https://www.hondacivicforum.com/foru...ad.php?t=72892 This is a SAFE alternative not just for yourself but to others out there on the road.

Well here's my idea, since you're stuck with cut springs for now and we can't reverse the situation.

Drive the car as much as you do, but be very careful going over bumps or around corners. Go over bumps and around corners slower than you normally would. This should help keep you safe.

Save up a little cash, and buy the springs that Itinerant linked to.

Being lowered 3" on stock shocks will blow the shocks quickly, so you should get the new springs ASAP.

Also, use this a learning experience. Next time you want to do a mod to your car that seems questionable, do a lot of research and find out the pros/cons.

+1.

And your shocks will be gone within a matter of months, if not weeks. I'd suggest getting new shocks and buying lowering springs asap. Also, don't forget the post-lowering alignment. I can tell you from experience that not getting your toe back in spec will destroy your tires in about 3 months.

Do it right, pay once. Do it wrong, pay twice.
