have you ever driven up a steep sand hill catch some air and not worry about scraping the ground and taking the whole bottom out of your vehicle. stock trucks that are worth driving have about 7-9 inches of ground clearance on average.
trucks have there fun parts as well. you could go through a dirt trail driving for hours only worrying
about how much gas you have left. can't do that in a civic. i have the benefit of both points of view.
