Computer Generate Items. The special effects man. It opens on a following to ships flying around a starship and then moves tho loads of them, Its very well put together.

 

DAMNIT! Dont say anything about the movie like that. I have yet to see it.

 

My bad dude, the scripts been on the net for months so I figured everyone knew what was up. I'll hold my tongue in the future.

 

just got back from GR seeing it my third time (yeah..im a geek, dont hate me [>:]) i saw it twice here but had to see it in the THX certified theater.

hes already announced that hes not going to, and that hes not selling the rights to anyone to do it

i thot they did a good job of making ewan look like him too. but the love was a must...otherwise there wouldnt be any explination as to WHY he killed all those ppl...he did it for padme...and he needed to find a way out. palpatine gave him hope, and he was weakened by his thoughts that he would have listened to anything anyone said. the way they put vader together was sweet too...although the way they depicted it in III it seemed more like the whole thing was part of his body...and i always thot it was just a suit with some life support units in it. also i thot the explination went that he fell INTO a lava pit, not got his legs cut off then lit on fire by an ember...i was a little dissapointed when that ended up being the case.

you kinda had to love the originals to stick with the new three. episodes I and II kinda sucked, but i watch them still because i grew up loving star wars (my dad was a huge starwars fan when it first came out and had all three on Laserdisc...remember those things? lol)

now heres what I have to say about it.

i loved it...dont hate me. it was by far the darkest movie...tho i thot hte end was much lighter than the end of II, cuz II just gave you that feeling like everything was going to hell and the war was going to destroy everything. the CG in this one was way advanced compared to the other movies. if you recall...even in I and II, when a ship blew up everything was vaporized and there was no scrap left over. If you watch it again, watch when the X-wing predicessors blow up in the opening scene, they go BOOM and pieces fly everywhere. you can also see the bodies of the two pilots on one of them. another thing i noticed that they didnt mention in articles previous to the release was when aniken and obi-wan were pulling into the station to meet the poloticians, if you look at the end of the shot near the bottom right of the screen you will see the MILLENIUM FALCON land on one of hte platforms. just thot id throw that out there so you can look for it the second time you watch it . there were also a lot of references to the original 3, though i cant remember all of them. one i remember...if you recall in VI, when luke is hiding under hte stairs and vader is talking to him trying to get him to turn, they show luke's face, half in light, half in shadow. they did the same to aniken when hes getting council from yoda about his dreams. if i think of more...i'll post 'em.

definately the best...adn dont hunt me down and kill me if i say it was one of my favorites of the six...if not my favorite (dont kill me *cowers*)

yeah thats what i thot too....oh well doesnt matter to me i just say CG cuz im more into animation and thats wut they call it in the animation biz
