ya wut they do is put you to sleep (most of the time) and then drill a hole in the center of the tooth and then crush it, then they pull out the tooth piece by piece.

That's what they're doing to me. (Putting me to sleep.) All of my wisdom teeth are still impacted so they have to split open the gum above it first and then rip them out.[:-]

Well I got all four out at about 9:00AM today. I got to the office at around 8:25 for my appt. at 8:30, and I had to wait until around 9:00 to get in. Needless to say, the tension was continually building.

It's a very weird feeling being put to sleep....and once you wake up your like WTF where am I. I didn't bleed too much, but when I got home I puked twice, which sucked. The swelling isn't too bad, but apparently it can get worse within the next 72 hours. Hopefully not....[>:]

All in all...I am damn glad it is over with.

well, glad to hearit went well so far... the day I had mine taken out (all 4 of em... and every single one was impacted [:@]) was probably the best day of my life... I can account for what I did for about 2 hours out of the entire day lol I never did have any swelling, either... but Big Mac's are impossible to eat... chinese food isn't, though (or maybe I was just really detirmined to eat chinese food... I love the stuff lol)

anyway, hope all goes well with the recovery.

Oh, yeah.. it's going to feel really weird for a while (once everything's healed up), not having any wisdom teeth.. you never notice them when you have them, but once they're out, there's like this huge gap at the back of your mouth.. and when the stitches are still in, everything you eat gets stuck back there lol

Thanks.
As it is right now, I am in hugeeee amounts of pain in my entire face..more so my jaw. I've been taking Ibuprofen throughout the day but it has done **** all.
That sounds pretty weird without the wisdoms...I didn't think it would be very noticeable.

It only gets worse (and more expensive) the longer you put it off
