That sounds a lot like the turbo'ed version. I took a summer art class at Shoreline CC, and there was a guy in my class who had the TT kit on his 350 (among other things). He was running high 12s (on slicks)/low 13s on streets, and said he was making about 480 at the wheels. He took me for a ride in it, and I'd say he was telling the truth. Needless to say, the kit is worth it if you've got the money or the patience to save it.

 

You don't think a civic with 25k+ poured into it could contend with a turbo'ed 350Z??

blah used 350Zs cost near 30k around here. im pretty sure i could beat a Z with 30k put into my car right.

 

I've looked at the GTO's, not impressed at all. I'd take that 350Z and rock it. Prolly turbo it, eventually. I like the 350Z, never driven one but I think I'd be impressed.

 

well yes a civic with 30K would be sweet. Figure B18C5 with b16 head. Fully built. HKS T61 turbo, it would be fast. It would take a lot of time to get a car like that running perfect though. Personally i think the 350Z is much nicer, and a few grand into THOSE internals and tuning will smoke the 30K civic.

a 30k civic would be fast as all hell, but it wouldn't be rwd, have the uber handling chasis, or look 1/4 as badass

 

if i didnt put the 30k into my civic id get an evo instead
