if he only put 1000 miles on it in the last year and a half, he probably already has another car, I'm guessing

have you called the bank yet? how old are you? they will jack you on interest rates... i looked at getting a 5k loan just to buy a gsr, which i ended up not getting... my interest rate was like 16%, i would of had it paid off within 3 months, but bc i have no house, or property, or anything they had to cover themselves and give me a high interest rate... even though my credit score is over 700

Exactly,
if you have no credit history, or bad credit history you won't qualify for a loan.
Now, you may be able to find a cosigner then you can get your loan, but your rates are going to be really high, and also it depends on the bank.
700 is not a high credit score either.
And if you have no credit then good luck.
The bank will probably just laugh at you.

Even if you can get a loan for the amount you want, that car is not worth potentially going into serious debt for..

Man, just go find yourself a cheap 2000 civic stock. Then you can make it your own!
Cause you're really just buying someone else's creation, that's not much fun.
It feels so much better to have a car that You built.
That, and you'll know more about the car.
It's just smarter.

sounds alright,but honestly,i wouldn't buy a car that's been modded up,for one:it's obviously been messed with/raced.i rather get me a stock car,for cheap,and tune it up myself,that way i know what exactly i want,do it right.good find though
