so theres this 01 civic theres a lot of body damage on the pass side. door and back qp are gonna need replaced. i work in a body shop tho so it wouldnt be hard. but i test drove it and the tranny is acting up. they just replaced it 50000 miles ago. it has around 100000 on it now, the tranny. its weird. from 1st to 2ed it will shift then the rpms keep going up and then it shifts into second. its a automatic...what do think it could be?...also lot of oil around the engine bay i think its just a valve cover gasget tho. idk what do u guys think? so like a pit or what? i was gonna give him 500$ for it. overall millage is 154500

 

Something like that is VERY hard to determine. I have an oil leak. Can you tell me where it is coming from? There is oil on my half shaft.

Do you feel like putting money and time into something like this? I would suggets to swap the trans to manual if anything

 

i was thinking about swaping the trans and motor i found a d17 on jdm...it comes w auto tran tho lol how much do u think id b looking at to put in the manual. i just bought it...deff think the tranny is ****ed lol it rides smooth just like i said from 1st to 2ed it jerks...i heard those 2001 and 2002 civic tranys have a repituation for going fast is that true?
