Default engine jitter in hot weather

I am in LA. In summer hot weather (above 80deg), whenever braking to stop, the engine jitters (but not yet stops). But at night or in winter time, this problem does not occur. So during the day it jitters but not at night.

Last summer I took the car to honda dealer because of this problem. They said normal after checking computer.

Never performed tune up. Airfilter replaced recently with ...Fram... filter.

ok i looked it up in the snap-on scanner today. did you recently adjust your valve lash? says that may be the cause and its too tight, or your distributor if labeled TEC is may be going bad

Replace the spark plugs and clean the throttle body.

No, they should be replaced every 20-30K miles.
