is it cold where you are and doing a lot of warm-up.
only 66 thousand and what year ??
probably could change out the vacuum hoses. that will affect idle.
i had to do that. only bout 3 dollars.
did all but the large one off of the iacv and off the brake booster

Last O2 sensor I bought was 100 bucks, through a mechanic's shop though, and I really didn't shop around, I needed it asap my car was in limbo.

Speaking of which, is it a good thing to just randomly replace your sensors, or wait till they are obviously defective? I thought maybe every 5-10 years it might be a smart idea to replace things like the 02's that get such a work out with the heat and etc.. they are subjected to ?

It is a 1993 with only 66000. I bought it from the original owner who only drove it in the city. The idle is not that iratic. Will the vaccum hose change possibly affect the terrible gas mileage I have been getting; only 22 MPG in the city? This is WAY below average and would seem to be something bigger than a leaking hose.

better report when the weather warms up if you are idling to warm up.
did not say to check the timing belt - but check the timing.
with it warm, you should hold idle at 750 to 850.
should say in owners manual.
whatever it is, the fuel injection cars hold idle much much better than the ones with carbs
